Read a good article from DLP...
http://www.dragons-lair-project.com/tech/docs/MonitorSwap.asp

Explained how to use a standard 19" crt television to work w. a dragons lair...

I found a 19" 2001 magnavox w. a funai monitor inside of it at a goodwill...

The television was missing the a/v inputs on the chassis(but had the space on the chassis..)

The attached pic is from the DLP article showing the funai w. the a/v inputs.

Where can i pick up that type of RCA jack (i tried mouser)
Is there any other type of assembly needed on the chassis to connect the video in???
(the chassis has the coax input??any whay to feed the video in that way)?

thanks
Dom

It may be missing more components than just that. Chances are there is another more expensive model that had the option. No reaz
son to just leave of a cheap part like that.

May just be marketing...
reason to trade up and make bigger margin on the more "expensive" version..:)

Ill look into and post the results
curious myself if it could be that easy...

THere was one small label that went across both Audio and video input jacks...I peeled it back and there are two places w. solder in place for both seems at a quick glance that everything is in place...

even used a universal remote to access the a/v mode and sure enough it comes up...
