    Dr. Dude my Dream Machine

Wow, that looks really good! I don't' remove mylar on System 11 machines because of 2 VERY bad experiences doing so. Looks like yours went well. I've had good success with Capcom machines but never Williams. Glad it went well for you! Chris

    Dr. Dude my Dream Machine

Dr. Dude is such an awesome game for its era. I love mine! Whoever sent you those plastics must be really cool. LOL I wish my machine had the "wavy" left wireform ramp like yours does. Not that it makes a difference, I just think it's cooler. Mine is straight.

Any sources for Hyperball parts or someone who works on them?

Not sure what exactly you're needing, but if you are needing the Hyper Cannon shooter rod, check here: https://forums.arcade-museum.com/threads/brand-new-williams-hyperball-cannon-plunger.547078/ I got one of these and it's very well made. Chris

Got a grail I never thought I would - Banzai!

I don't often use the term "grail" but this was one for me. I didn't expect to get a Banzai Run but sometimes the powers that be have different ideas. Sold 3 machines to get this but it's worth it to me. Despite the weight and weird center of gravity, my buddy and I got it down the basement...

Cool video explaining how electro mech pinballs work.

This guy's videos, all of them, are fantastic. Not just the pinball ones (there are more than one). And stay till the end for the bloopers! LOL Chris

HUO Hyperball? Don't mind if I do!

So while at Pinfest in Allentown, PA this past weekend I picked up a game I bought after discussing over texts with the seller. It was advertised as a Home Use Only Hyperball. I know it's not a traditional pinball machine, but I digress. After getting a fe photos and a video of them playing the...

Best place for CPU repair...Reasonable priced and speed!

I had my Whirlwind boards repaired by Eugene Mosh. His work was fantastic, and at a reasonable price (in my opinion). He went above and beyond in preemptively replacing components that would have likely failed soon. He is in Montana, but was super responsive in answering my questions and quick...

Wow! What a fantastic E.M. Pinball video

This was really good, and an instant subscribe to his channels. The way he describes how things work is fantastic. And his demeanor is great, Calm with humor mixed in. And the outtakes are a bonus too.

    Whirlwind is awesome

That's early in the run as well. I heard somewhere that the first 200 had Diamond Plate, but I can't confirm that. Looks like you have # 117 so that would track. Also with the "Cubs" hat that follows as well. Does your single drop target have a picture of a tornado on it? Mine just has the word...

    Whirlwind is awesome

Curious as to what the serial number of your machine is. I think the blue topper was a reproduction, but I could be wrong. Chris

    Whirlwind is awesome

Yeah, you'd probably fall over with what this Whirlwind cost. But it's nice, Diamond Plate and a very early production (serial #38). I'm very happy to have it. Chris

    Whirlwind is awesome

Not sure of any mods. I need to do a light shop out of this one. I believe it is an early run machines but can't really confirm that. It has an early translite on it (the boy has a "Cubs" cap in, something that was later changes to a cap with a Williams logo. Also the drop target decal is...

I do like basket case projects - Williams Black Knight

Great job on the plastic piece! I misread the post and thought you replaced it with the new one, it looks that good! This is really coming together nicely. It's a labor of love for sure, but it will look fantastic when it's done. Seems like you're in the home stretch now! Chris

I do like basket case projects - Williams Black Knight

Pardon my ignorance, but is there some sort of protective film on the playfield that hasn't been removed yet? Project is looking great but the wavyness on the upper field is making my OCD crazy! LOL This will look amazing once done! Chris

    My first Pinball machine

Yeah they are awesome. My Firepower II has just about every Defender sound in it, ans some from Joust as well! They re-used them in many games, and I am okay with that! Chris

    My first Pinball machine

Awesome! Good work getting it going. Blackout is a great game and has some of the best classic Williams sounds. Just watch out. Somehow even when you have only one they somehow breed like rabbits! Chris
