The 24v is just used for the coin counter on Nintendo games, so if you don't have it the coin counter doesn't work.

I never sold it, I kept it because I have plenty of space.

Bingo. I bought one of these recently, and it's in the exact same cabinet as the one pictured in this thread. It's labeled "SSF2" on the serial tag, but has the three joystick cp and has never been converted. They must have changed a bunch of these out at the factory...

Ever since they split the two boards up, several items a day get posted in this category instead of the parts category.... so we all get to search through two categories instead of 1 because of the moderator's bad idea to split the sections up. Yay! More work for everybody and it's now easier...

Not only are we not better off, we're worse off. It complicates things, even for the people who are trying to do it the right way. Go check out all the posts on the 1st page, selling both full games, AND parts. How's that work? I guess they should make seperate posts in seperate forums...

Just in case somebody stumbles across this, you now have to search both forums because there's literally tons of parts and pcb's in the 'whole games' forum, and the mods don't move them over to the other forum. So if you're interested in buying parts, you now have to wade through two forums...
