    400k club on Robotron

The thing that helped me most, other than practice, was getting the sticks right. You can't win if you're fighting your controls the whole time.

What’s the next game that you’re looking for?

Might say ok to an Omega Race, or a Zaxxon for lulz. Would have to be close by. My old truck has about had it.

    SFGE 2023 Roll Call?

I was only able to make it Friday night, but I managed to get in 7+ hours of games and pinball before the arcade closed for the night. I had a great time. I can't remember how many SFGEs I've been to at this point, but I always have a blast. Hauling games and pins to the show, setting them up...

    Joystick removal HELP

You might be able to save the stick by carefully cutting the grommet bushing off with a Dremel or other small grinder.

Mmmmm I wonder if this would work?

I like the adjustable width. How well would this work with no swivel casters? Also, mover dollys have always done fine for me (and are 1/10 the $).

Best high score menu board for arcades?

I have an old Pepsi menu that I like: Post in thread 'New High Score Sign for my game room. Show me your' https://forums.arcade-museum.com/threads/new-high-score-sign-for-my-game-room-show-me-your.472481/post-4196580

Console games that are better than the arcade version

Very much agree. Honorable mention for Ghost and Goblins on the C64. Not quite better, but a really good port.

Did this Joust control panel come with optical joysticks?

My optical Joust control panel is stamped 01/19/83. Other dates on the cab include 02/03/83 and 01/06/83.

Old Pepsi clock. Kinda beat up but still works, which fits the vibe in my basement perfectly.

How long do you assume a seller should take to ship parts

Fast shippers are awesome, but I kinda feel bad when a seller goes above and beyond to ship something quick and it takes me weeks (or more) to get around to using it. I usually try to say something like, "No rush on this, I won't need it till next month anyway." Patience is usually the best play.

    Wacko grommet, standard midway?

I'll make one if it's different than the usual MW ones. It will probably be very similar to other grommets I make in general design (plastic parts and silicone). How about I just send you a couple of Midway ones to try out? They may be ok.

    Wacko grommet, standard midway?

I could make a variant for Wacko if I had one to work from, or at least the dimensions of one. Assuming, of course, that it is in fact different than other Midway grommets. In the one picture of the cp I found online, the joysticks look very similar to Pac-Man.

Looking for games that have "glitchy" boot up graphics - re: Robotron

Galaxian is pretty glitchy when it boots.
