    The Wiggler #2857

Cool dude. Yeah, I guess some was lost when the forum updated it's software a few years ago. PM me if you need any info. Or, post it here. We could make it part of the thread.

    Ms Pac-Man Bezel

Awesome find. Great score. This early Ms Pac is in way better shape than mine.

    Ms Pac-Man Bezel

What the serial number on the cab? Mine is relatively low number (sn# 804).

Space Ace - an arcade story

Awesome. Good luck. I may be able to make a few measurements if you need them, but as you can see, the side art is all round edges.

Space Ace - an arcade story

Here's mine. This cab was probably converted from Dragon's Lair. Cab# LD 05100.

    Jungle King 141508 Restoration

Disassembly thoughts continued... Behind the marquee. The speaker is too deteriorated to reuse: The cab is much better already. No longer a hantavirus hazzard hopefully: The inside front corners are really swollen with moisture, even though the outside of the cab is OK in these areas. I'm...

    Jungle King 141508 Restoration

Thoughts During Disassembly... Example of the side art condition around the edges: I think its fine. Very age-appropriate. The monitor with its interesting cab adapter frame. This WG 4903 chassis and the tube look surprisingly good. Should work fine after a cap kit. I've never seen a door...

    Jungle King 141508 Restoration

King! ... of nasty Here's Jungle King 141508: I've been meaning to get started on this project forever. The cab is mostly OK. Some wear and swelling. There is a slot cut into the kickplate for a bill acceptor (now gone). The whole thing is very dirty. The marquee and bezel are in good shape...

    Atari Centipede Cabaret clean up

Although... now that I look at it more closely... It does have the same unconnected wiring as in your picture. I guess I thought it was just unused interlock wires. Maybe my cab did have backlight wiring 🤔.

    Atari Centipede Cabaret clean up

Nice work so far. Not sure about others, but mine did not have any wiring for the marquee backlight before I modded it.

    Atari Centipede Cabaret clean up

Great work so far! Good job on the kickplate. Mine smelled like forty years ago when I got it, so I left it alone.

    Low Force Joystick Grommets

Yes. Will send you a PM. Reliability is a definitely a legit question. I've wondered about it. What's a good metric? Number of successful moves? Force required to make a move? Re-centering speed? Unbroken parts? Can I pick the cab up by the joystick and not break it? This makes me wonder how...

    Low Force Joystick Grommets

I am so glad these fit and work OK in a FF. Thanks so much the help. Waffel essen!

    Low Force Joystick Grommets

OK, maybe a bit more than minor changes... After testing this design for a few days, it was clear it wasn't strong enough. The rings were too thin and cracked easily. https://forums.arcade-museum.com/media/bzgrommet-4-1-jpg.18196/full So, I made several major changes this time around: -...

Taito slant-top games, front (inside coin door) volume pot?

Would like to get pics and info of this part of a Taito cab as well. Here are pics from an unrestored Jungle King I have. This game was heavily modified / picked over before I got it. While this plate is inside the coin door on the right side, it looks more like leftover cabinet lock hardware...

    Low Force Joystick Grommets

Thanks for all the interest in the Atari BZ/FF grommets. After playing around with the first prototype for a few days, I feel it needs some (relatively minor) changes to be solid enough to send out. Will update soon.

    Jungle King restore

I made no attempt to smooth out the underside. I just painted it. IIRC, I was pretty tired of grinding metal and bondo at that point in the project.

    Jungle King restore

Yes this. I did something similar with my Q*Bert cp and it worked quite well.
