Cant really get a video (you guys should know its hard to record a CRT, cmon). The phone camera refresh rate makes it impossible to see the problem. Let me attack the various connections and see if I can fix it.

Resolved. Installed an APAR kit and found the following issues with the previous work: C520 was supposed to be 1uf but it had a 3.3uf in its place. C570 was supposed to be a 470uf but it had a 100uf in its place. Most caps were cheap Richey/Lelon garbage Picture now looks great.

It looks like the same style flyback that's available now was installed. Some of the caps look good, some of them look like cheaper quality replacements, a couple were not replaced. I will do a proper cap kit and report back. Good to know about the CBO compatibility, wasn't sure on that.

Messed around with the dip switches and got it resolved. Dont remember having to do this in the past when working on G07s which is why it threw me for a loop. Thanks guys.

Looks like my TPG does not like G07s. I used my coworkers newer TPG and it syncs just fine. Any ideas? @CraftyMech

Ive tried a couple other chassis that are marked working, and they have the same issue. Tried jumpering for composite sync (on TPG Im hooking into only positive sync. On G07 Ive jumpered positive to negative), and it makes no difference. Seems like the TPG doesnt like certain G07s for some reason

Apparently if you recap a G07 and don't replace the flyback there's a slim chance the flyback can explode. So for G07s yes, otherwise it's case by case

Lol I changed it to a resistor closer to 1.5k and it lowered the voltage... might end up sending this out, not sure Im really getting anywhere

Honing in on the 30v, I think the only thing affecting it would be R105, which I think is within spec at ~1.42k ohm (its a 1.5k ohm 10% 3w resistor). Maybe it needs to be closer to 1.5k?
