I'd also like to know how you hooked up the happ joystick, does it require the small sega joystick amplifier/pcb or did you hook it directly to the I/O? Pics would be great. :)

NARC uses 4 boards total (rom/cpu/IO/Sound). I assume this thread is just to sell off a lot of rom boards only to harvest the eproms off it (there are many!)

Depends upon the game, most times its just difficulty differences between regions. The biggest difference is in construction/quality of the PCB, where Korea versions produced in Korea typically have cheaper components (caps/resistors/no heat sink/etc). Sometimes the boards are produced outside...

I was just testing the vector tube with my Zektor ZVG board, which shows it working (that is Tempest playing) although may need some adjustment. The mainboard is still dead...something I'll try troubleshooting later...for now this is my new Zektor test monitor. :)

If I didn't already have a Blue/US Dimahoo, I would have snatched that up quick! Being able to read the in game item list in English makes it much easier to complete sets. Not many US boards out there.

I've bought from DrKitty before, both on and off ebay, and everything goes very smoothly. Shipping (via EMS) is going to be on the expensive side since its coming all the way from Korea, but is worth it for some of the rare titles he finds. Packaging is always A+.

I have a few arcade posters, and this stands out as different material that looks more homemade. I honestly can't decide if its better or worse, as behind a plexy frame it looks more like the others. The vector artwork definitely pops and looks fantastic.

Received mine in the mail today, and looks stunning. I was expecting glossy poster stock, not flat paper, but once I got it in my makeshift frame it looks great. Thanks!
