    Where to buy Arcade carpeting?

I got mine in an area rug. Manufactured by Joy Carpets from Wayfair. It was less than $200 for a 6'X12' with bound edges at the time. A little more now. It drop shipped directly from Joy Carpets to me...

NEW Pixel Bash PCB Dip Switch Settings

In case anyone searches for this. The 3rd dipswitch setting Off On Off is 1280x1024 LVDS. It is used in later (2021+) Pixel Bash machines that have a direct connection to the LCD. Earlier Pixel Bash Machines (Up to at least 2019) used WG 1979 CGA/EGA/VGA LCD Monitors.

Grabs so far this year, would like to see other collectors as well.

In 20+ years, I've never had a Ms. Pac Man UR. I've had Pac and Super Pac in both UR & Cocktail but never Ms. Pac until now. The PO had put a flatscreen in it but didn't hack up the original wiring too bad. They made an adapter for the monitor and spliced in a power plug for the monitor. I also...

Anyone looking for a Numbskull Pacman??

Just guessing here but I'd just look for a 7" 40 pin IPS LCD. Plenty of them out there on Ali and even a few on Amazon. You can't 100% be sure until you plug it in but looking at the pinouts, it at least looks like it's close. https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805201765937.html looks similar...

Did You Know About Arcade Games or Computers First?

I remember the Happy Computing enhancement. It was an addon for the disk drive that made it faster and also able to backup any disk the drive could read, even ones with advanced disk based protection at the time. It was meant for "Backup Purposes" :D

Did You Know About Arcade Games or Computers First?

I grew up close to Silicon Valley in the 70's and got an EM Pin in 78 as a birthday present. I picked up my first Arcade game, Kee Tank II in 1979 from the dumpster behind an Arcade and got an Atari 400 a few months later as my friend's dad worked at Atari and brought home an Atari 800 setup...

    Restored games running jrok boards

I agree, JROK boards are great and have their place. If my Q*bert or Qix wasn't working and I couldn't get it fixed quickly or reasonably, I'd be all over a board (assuming I could get one). I actually bought an ArcadeSD for Qix because I couldn't stand the 60 in 1 not saving scores before I got...

    Restored games running jrok boards

The OP asked and you replied honestly. I felt you were actually taking it easy and only pointing out the most obvious of things. It's funny, most of the JROK board "restores" that seem the most egregious to me all seem to be Mystar stuff. Q*Bert is another one people get ripped off on.

    Restored games running jrok boards

I get that the JROK boards are good quality and reliable but it seems to me that I see a people selling "Restored" classics wanting top dollar as if their JAMMA harness having JROK board running running off a $25 switcher is somehow a "Restored Classic". Go search the Whole Games for sale...

Is This Old Game still around ?

It's odd reading this thread. It's unfortunate that those with issues had them for sure. It does not match my experience over the last year. I bought Super Pacman Cocktail control panel overlays before it was even on the site and DK Sideart for a Red DK with no copyright / TM on it to match the...

    Happ Q*Bert "Reproduction" Joystick

Cool thread. I just found a similar 8 way stick in a box. I thought it was QBert but it's got the flat top and tapered stick. It's also an 8 way. Three Stooges maybe?

Grabs so far this year, would like to see other collectors as well.

A trio of games in today's snag. Galaga running a 60 in 1. Primal Rage with a flaky monitor (not sure what is with that Centuri coin door) and an original, numbers matching Omega Race (#406). Powers up but not working (yet).

What's the history of Qix II Tournament

Ok, Everyone has had almost two years to ponder the question. Anyone have any answers? I've read that it was an update kit and there might even be a marquee out there but nothing ever confirmed. Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
