  1. Soda machine owners?

Make sure you have coins in the tubes. What did you set the coin mech to? If there is no change in the tubes, it will work on exact change only. Also make sure you complete the vend cycle. Its been awhile since I messed with one of these, but this is what comes to mind. Did you try to put it...
  2. About to buy a Coke Machine, need quick advice!

V83's are big, bulky and not very valuable. Its a single flavor 6 or 7oz bottle, I forget. Most newer cooling systems wouldn't "drop in" to that cabinet. Doesn't mean you couldn't adapt it, but would need refrigeration work. I parted one out 5-6 years ago. Hard to get the coin mech working. Its...
  3. About to buy a Coke Machine, need quick advice!

I have 2 of these machines and IMHO they are one of the most practical machines for personal use because they hold cans and bottles at the same time. One of mine has a bad compressor, which a shot of freon won't fix. You can try a compressor "hard start" kit. They are available at grainger and...
  4. U-Select Candy machine help...

If I remember correctly, its a tapered pin. If you can't get it to move one way, try it the other way.
  5. U-Select Candy machine help...

This might force me to get back into mine. Those pieces look familiar. I will dig back into my pictures and see what I can find. I might have a book also. There is a guy on the soda machine forum that knows these machines inside/out.
  6. Coke machine - Cavalier?

Which door can't you open? coin door or refrigerator door? I have a few USS machines I'll look at it tonight and see what you are talking about. Not sure if the cabs are the same build though.
  7. Coke machine - Cavalier?

Must be the angle.. it looks tall. Nice machine either way. Have you plugged it in yet?
  8. Coke machine - Cavalier?

Looks pretty nice. You can repaint the front door red and it will really look good. Looks like a CSS series which would be bottles only. Hard to tell from the angle, but looks like a css-96.
  9. Vendo V63-7

Cooling fan motors are grainger #4ME47.They sell new blades as well, but I don't know that number. Before replacing the compressor, you could try a hot start kit. As far as cleaning, I would always remove the vending stack, spray the inside with Spray Nine and pressure wash the inside, with the...
  10. unknown (to me) coke machine

That machine is about 300lbs.. not too bad. I can be stripped down a bit further to bring down into the basement pretty easily. If it cools and is in good shape, its worth paying in the $350 range. If you are buying to flip, then obviously less.
  11. School me on Soda Machines

Depends on what era you are looking for, but the Cavalier USS series will do it. Will also do glass bottles.. I have a USS-64 which will has 8 selections and 8pcs of each. Not the best picture, but its about 5' tall, 30"wide, 30" deep.

  15. Pepsi machine ID and Help

If you pop in at Soda-machines.com, post a picture with whats going on with the machine. There is one or 2 guys there that service these machines and can point you in the right direction.. Do you have product in the machine? Many of the vend circuits in these machines use microswitches to...
  16. Pepsi machine ID and Help

My first thought was ChoiceVend, but it says Vendo at the bottom right. Many of the pushbutton machines aren't documented well in the SMC database. Most of the collector sites don't get into this style machine.
  17. Vendolator VF125

Hmm... did you plug it in? How about starting with some pictures.. There isn't a whole lot to know about most of these machines..

  19. Vendors 63 coke machine help!!

Tracing that wire is key. Look at the plug that the coin mech plugs into... Someone may have tried to wire in a freevend switch at one time. If you have a bottle gate stuck open, it will not vend again until that gate is reset. Sounds like your stack is ready to be cleaned and lubed also..
