Ah, setup-wise, player 2 controls shouldn't be hooked up for upright mode. I have read documentation somewhere for rack mode. Maybe another manual for a stern-like game. Found the mame note: "- In Tazmania, when set to Upright mode, player 2 left skips the current level."

are you sure you got the pinout correct? I'll check the manual but there is a rack mode that uses service or test plus button. I had a pickle of a time making a jamma adapter for my Tazz pcb a few years ago and also ran into what I felt was undocumented territory :)

Totally agree, every big advancement has changed how we live, and yeah, there've always been tradeoffs, but that kind of proves the point that people have always worried new advancements would make us lazy or take our jobs, and somehow we've adapted each time. The challenge isn't the technology...

I use it all the time. Just a tool that makes my life easier. I get the qualms people have, but technology has always had that affect on people. Just make sure to have it cite sources and verify yourself.

Looks like a centuri cabinet. Eagle came in white, but has the monitor more upright, so maybe something modified, but my guess is centuri. Looking closer, third party cabinet

I believe it might be the opposite, and they want you to purchase from third parties, not them. They also sell products through their warehouses for sellers, but I think they make the most money from being a shop that has things listed, but doesn't have to ship, store, or handle returns.
