Looking to start up a Retro arcade and wondering if there is a place to purchase some inventory. I know Captains exists, is there other options out there people recommend?

Thanks will start a thread there. I understand your opinion. I have about 10 machines I've collected over the years and understand they can be problematic, especially monitors. But when starting up an arcade I would want to stock it up and purchase in bulk. Also my area sucks for Facebook ads...

What are the alternatives? I'm looking to open a retro arcade and Captains seems like a nice one stop shop, even though it's on the other side of the country, is there anything similar or alternatives for a large-ish quantity of retro games to start up a retro arcade?

Is Captains not posting the prices anymore? I went on there today (Nov 10th) to see what things sold for as I like to see trends and keep tabs on how much machines are going for and for the first time they are listing items as sold and no final price. :(

Yes converting it to Mortal Kombat 2 I figured coin door, marquee light etc is already wired to the current jamma harness, would it be wise to put a new jamma harness and leave the old one? Would just make for a rats nest. Plus I never see that cabinet ever going back to Radikal Bikers

Depends. It's also really easy to check a fuse. Just a suggestion.

Did you check if the fuse on the chassis is blown?

I believe it's a Well Gardner. Not sure the model. I think it's a u5000, not sure. How do I find out which model number it is? Also I think I see some areas that have a brown liquid at the base of the cap. Are these a concern? Finally does this chassis need an isolation block?

I'm looking into converting my Radikal Bikers jamma into a regular Jamma. I guess Radikal Bikers didn't use a standard jamma. I'm trying to avoid cutting wires so I want your opinion, what is the best way to convert this to a standard jamma? Is it easy to just remove the wires from the...

Wooops, I did drive. Thanks, I'll have to go back and adjust again. This one is hard because the cardboard really covers the pots. I have to go up and over the cardboard and down again and feel around to find the pots.

Yes thanks I did turn down the green and it definitely improved. This particular neckboard has two greens and two reds. Is that normal?

Just bought this arcade machine. Monitor looked off. Adjusted the focus on the flyback and that really helped, but it seems like there is a lot of green on the screen now. Here is the test pattern screen. Is this a convergence problem or a green problem?

I understand the layout is different. My plan is to take my existing MK2 control panel and installing it on the MK4, so unbolting the MK4 control panel and bolting on the MK2. I just hope the 4 bolt holes align. Does that make sense?

Bumping this, hoping to get an answer. Otherwise I'm going to go ahead and purchase the MK4 cabinet and hope for the best.
