Thinking about a Neo Geo Candy--Neo 25 vs. MVS 25 opinions?

Both are nice cabinets. If one is in clearly better condition I would go for that one. CRT based cabinets have a unique appearance that are not replicated by other display technologies due to the phosphor motion trail glow persistence. Most people can readily see this effect on a game like...

I'm building my dream '90's Schmups cabinet and what I have in mind for it scares the crap out of me..

May be interesting to cut the bottom portion off to make a sit down shooter. As an upright, I think these are a nice format and remember a Viper Phase 1 at an auction in this cabinet, and have played a Raiden in one also.

    HSS Super Multipede kit

Have both the Braze kit and the HSS one. Both good values, the HSS is said to have same/correct colors for Centipede. The addition of Warlords is decent and controls fine I think with a trackball, keeping in mind of course that it is one player only and I'll usually fire the game up and play...

3D printed Killer Instinct 2 case

I've added RCA jacks to a CPS1 board so it would put out dual mono, had just soldered wires to a Jamma edge extender attached to the board.

3D printed Killer Instinct 2 case

Nice idea, maybe could add a feature for dual RCA jacks like on a CPS2 cart so it could be plugged into cabinets wired for stereo (even if the game outputs mono itself)

    EDOT Curbside Find

Glad this game was saved and in the hands of someone who appreciates it for its value as a game for what it is to him. Have seen a few over the years and I've been working on a functioning one on and off the past few months, it's really quite a special game and fun to play.

What Flyback Models would you like to see made??

Nanao MS2931 Zenith K7000A 4600 (I haven't had one fail though, just mentioning as I don't know if repros are made, the width coil is a more common fail point that also could use a more readily available replacement)

    Donkey Kong PCB Reproduction

@JamBurglar - The 11 board is the one made with some issues I believe so that it does not result in the fluctuating sound pitch.

Strange Track & Field Control Panel

That looks like a converted Wizard of Wor control panel. Some people do like to play T&F with a joystick hitting left and right back and forth for the run motion.

Which of your games made the most BANK?

208,295 on a Galaga machine I've got. It was set on freeplay when I picked it up before restoring it so I wonder how many games have been played on it.

    Welding Control Panel Tips?

If welding doesn't turn out, you might also use 26g to 28g steel patches and affix on the underside with JB Weld or another epoxy and then after fill the circle with more JP Weld and smooth. Or you might place a cut sheet of 26g steel from Lowes and adhere it with epoxy right on top and then...

    What’s your favorite cocktail?

Most any of the Midway games like Pacman are the best size to monitor ratio to use as purely a game table. Food Fight works really well. Tempest makes sense as the idea of the game is actually that the monsters are coming out of a hole. The table is also huge so it is functionally a good...
