It was because there was another fire escape there and it was constantly getting play. I had a 7mil pt game myself, having just learned about it at the show. I then talked to the guy who bought it and he seemed really excited, so I'm happy he got it.

I couldn't find any info on my chassis online, but the big ceramic resistor for me measured ~154V on one side and 115.0V on the other side. Adjusting the B+ pot made the 115 side move. Cranking it to about 120 didn't seem to make the hum go away, but maybe it's normal and I'm just being picky? I...

Any idea what the B+ was before and after adjusting? I have a korean cab with an orion 2902 monitor in it that is also doing an odd hum. I think it needs recapping, but I want to try adjusting the B+ if that will fix it?
