i have an led bulb behind the background translite in my edot...it works fine with the relay/transformer combo (turning on and of when it's supposed to). all other (4) bulbs that are controlled via the relays are fluorescent...i haven't checked, but do they even make white/black fluorescent...

Neither...bad solder pad on a ceramic cap on the 30v line. It was strange, wasn’t completely gone, showed continuity when I tested on my bench I could’ve sworn but under load no 30v was getting to the amp. Reflowed solder and all is well again

I have 3 perfectly working qbert boards. I believe I should be able to convert one to Mad Planets via a simple rom swap, however every attempt I've made boots to garbage. I've tried intel and hitachi roms, but neither work (i believe they are both 450ns) could they be to slow? I'm testing...

Figures this out...shitty connectors on the brand new kick harnesses that came with it. Only 2 or 3 of the wires were making contact with the pins. Re-pinned with new .100 connectors and all is well.

Its stuck because of the adhesive from the foam strip between the cp and the glass bezel. Pull harder, or run a razor blade between the glass and the back edge of the control panel.

yeah, i know you have far more experience with these, so i will defer to your opinion...however, i said that because he's no longer getting the ram error, just a continuous reset loop. my thinking was there are more than one issue here.
