And I'm Back: A Red Tent, a PC10, and a side of Hantavirus

Are the nintendo buttons specific to Nintendo? Mikes Arcade sells “Nintendo buttons” but I would prefer not to spend $8 a button.

Reminds me of my sinistar upright I got a few months ago, the mouse urine was basically like resin.

Long time no see! So I ended buying @Takeman s repro control panel, I have basically everything but the joystick. I’m hoping to clear some space in my garage this weekend and get to work on this. I have multiple projects but have never finished a full one like this!

    Q-Bert Restoration

There’s a gash, finishing nail holes, minor stuff just cosmetic. I’m going to us vinyl instead of painting so I want to make sure any imperfections are taking care of.

Yeah someone said to use epoxy and wood flour because bondo wouldn’t hold very well. I did go on YouTube and found your video of you using fiberglass bondo so might just use what I already have.

I started taking everything off so that I could start sanding and to make it easier to move around. Here's the after of the sanding, might need to do a little more but not much needs to be done! I was also on Home Depot’s website and saw this wood epoxy stuff and wondering if anyone has used it...

So I was taking a closer look at the cabinet and realized that in some places it was coming apart, so I’m assuming it was dropped at some point. I used gorilla wood glue and clamped them in. First three photos are in the back, last is in the front where I had already glued and clamped.

I ended up taking the monitor out, I have no idea what it is and it’s so big there was no room to doing anything on the inside. I’m gonna look for or if I have a spare, use a 4900 like they came.

Yesterday I was scrolling FB marketplace for games like usual, when I noticed this listing near me…I immediately realized it was a Gottlieb cabinet and I have been on the hunt for a while now for one! I knew when I saw this it was a perfect candidate for the Gottlieb Jrok that has been...

How do I remove this sticky adhesive quicker?

Acetone worked!! I have it all cleaned up and working now, but I realized that the marquee doesn’t light up and there nothing that shows there was a light. Do you know if they came factory with one?

How do I remove this sticky adhesive quicker?

UPDATE - I’ve tried letting the Goo Gone sit for up to 15 mins and it seems to only remove the top surface of the residue, I’ve tried IPA in a small spot and again only top layer. I haven’t tried contractor solvent yet, but rubbing it with my finger removes it after a few seconds. I’ve just been...

Apparently according to the link, although I have never seen those on a CC, only taito games that were converted.

How do I remove this sticky adhesive quicker?

I wanted the side art to hide the residue crap but of course no one has them. I messaged Atari on instagram about it but highly doubt I’ll get anywhere with them.

How do I remove this sticky adhesive quicker?

I’d prefer the side art that Atari would give out, photo for reference.

How do I remove this sticky adhesive quicker?

Got most of the grey crap off but you can still see residue, do I keep letting it soak in Goo Gone or is there something else I should try like heat gun?
