The original t molding shrinks slightly over many years.. You can try the heat gun, but it will just pull away again.. as its shrunk slightly over 40 years.. just my 2 cents.. ;)

Yes, Unfortunately.. paid good money to have it crack again.. seems like some stiff fiberglass overlays at times.. I knew putting them on, they wouldnt hold up.. people will tell you you need to heat it up ect.. just a bunch of BS...

I have used a hot glue gun while putting on the molding.. works like a charm just take your time.. (y)

I made a 8 way wico, with a bat stick. current bat stick. measures perfect in every way/dimensions... looks and plays perfect.. actually made 2.. ;)

I actually take the new buttons apart.( not easy). and put old c-clip style springs back in the new buttons.. much softer play. doesnt wear my fingers out.. like the new buttons do...;)

Im a purist when it comes to restores,, but with that said, I really like the willis one..
