  1. Before i buy new coils for my pin...

Coils either work or they don't. They don't get "weak" as time goes on. Check your coil sleeves, linkages, end stops and voltages to the coils.
  2. Found some "pinball" parts in a free cabinet

Looks like parts from an EM Bingo machine
  3. The JETSONS Pinball

No one should be paying $6k for that pinball.
  4. Lost world pinball

The best place to start is at the beginning. The first thing you have to do is make sure that your voltages are good. Go to the rectifier board and check the voltages there, if they are wrong, rebuild the rectifier board. Then look at the connectors and header pins on the rectifier board...

  11. Bally Embryon Pinball. Any good?

Another example of a wonky price guide price. I'll buy all the $975 Embryons you can find. Go get that machine!!
  12. Bally Embryon Pinball. Any good?

Buy it. Embryon is the best of the classic Bally widebody pins. $1,000 for an Embryon in that condition is a good price.

  18. Caribbean cruise and night moves

Sorry guys, I'm not trying to start a fight or slam anyone here. If this thread was asking for someone's opinion on a subject, then there would be no right or wrong input from anyone. I just have a pet peeve about requests for factual, experienced input getting blurred by the addition of...
  19. Caribbean cruise and night moves

What the authors of the price guides do or do not know doesn't have anything to do with the conversation here. The issue is you always chiming in with your amazing skills at posting values from the price guides, that are available to everyone, and sprinkling some of your uninformed monologue...
  20. Too old and tired of learning lazy things

RGP = rec.games.pinball. It was one of the first internet pinball forum sites predating the rise of the KLOV forum and the existence of Pinside. I also think game name abbreviations are lazy and annoying.
