I'm completely the opposite. Every glass marquee I have ever seen eventually flakes. Plexi doesn't do that. Sure it scratches, but scratches can be buffed out. Touching up a flaked marquee or bezel always looks like shit.

I thought it was just that they were bent at the wrong radius curve. At least that's the way mine was, and I made it work. But you’re right, unless you’re good with highlighter markers or phosphorescent paint, you can’t use the originals.

So by trimming, I assume you mean all the details in the ‘NEW’ explosion balloons, etc.? That could get a little interesting. What’s your price point on these?

That should be easy enough to fix with plywood veneer of the correct thickness. Just square up and flatten the missing area and then glue in a strip of plywood veneer. I’ve had to do that a few times in the past.

OK, so this is the original base and a new floor. I was completely confused as to what the hell was going on here. Yes, ultimately if you were able to pull that side off and then trim the new floor with a router to take that excess eighth of an inch or so off, then clamp everything back together...

It'll be interesting to see how long the paint sticks to the laminate before flaking. I restenciled a Circus Charlie kickplate that used this same technique, paint over laminate. I'm not sure when the paint actually started flaking off BITD, but by the 40 year mark it was getting pretty bad. If...

You know it's fun to also switch it up to columns now and then, but that game gets pretty old and repetitive really quick. I hate to say it, but my mind can only handle so many rearrangements of the sparkly gems before I just lose interest. I think it's time to find another puzzle game to put in...

Right and then when it was mentioned, someone said that both buttons rotate the piece in the same direction. At the time I wasn't sure, but now that I played it a bunch I am. Each button rotates the piece in the opposite direction, just as god intended.
