I bought a cheap blasting gun from harbor freight years ago.
It works fine. My compressor is underpowered, so I have to wait for it to catch up sometimes. No big deal.
I don't have a booth, so the media is all wasted. Fine for me for smaller jobs.
Mine has the slide modified so I can push it in and start a game with no quarter.
I think it is a simple modification but I don't know exactly how to do it
@mk3u2012 There's a dude selling a legit door on ebay if you're interested:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/256986150935
He has a bunch of other items for the game for sale, including a coin box, the cash box door, etc if you need any of that.
Should be able to drill the locks the normal way.
If it were me, I'd pick them. It usually isn't too hard with these.
Sometimes you even find the key inside.
Mine has separate keys for the front and back.
My compressor sucks and it does start and stop.
With the amount of sandblasting I do it isn't that big of a deal for me but I can see how it would irritate others.
Sandblasting kicks ass.
I've used it to remove rust many times.
I got a cheap gun from Harbor Freight and use it with my existing compressor.
I don't have a way to capture the grit, so it's just wasted every time.
The fastest way for me would be to cut the hole to have straight lines, in this case a nice sharp "V". It's difficult and unnecessary to glue to jagged edges.
Then I'd cut a piece to fit that V and glue it in.
Sand, paint.
