Found or No Longer Wanted Wanted: Sega Slimline Dedicated Head On 2 PCB

Hi there, I saw your post on facebook, I am super envious of your pickup! I'm glad you found someone to dump the ROMs, I'd be curious to see if they are the same as the Sega ones for sure. Also, thanks for scanning the artwork! even uploading raw scans would be incredible. Thank you so much for...

Modern supply that can handle radar scope’s -5v?

PP7A and PP7B does NOT use a 7905 fixed voltage regulator for -5V. A radarscope board would really be pushing it for that kind of fixed regulator.

    Baby Pac-Man and Random ?s

I can kind of speak from the electronics side. The best thing you can do for yourself is gain a core understanding of basic electronics and digital logic. Plenty of youtube videos on this skill. Next thing is you need to make sure you are good at soldering. Plenty of videos on how to properly...

Interest Check: Sinistar PCB Mounting Plate

I had to make one for the Sinistar that I am working on, I figured I might shoot my shot and see if anyone else needs one. Depending on how many people need it it will cost between $80 and $120 each (plus shipping cost). It is pretty close to the originals, the only thing I changed is I added...

FT - Parts: Immaculate Nintendo Donkey Kong 3 pcb for trade

What I am saying is that you can change it to cocktail or upright by setting the dipswitch option 'P'. Right now it is set to "off", meaning that it is set to be an upright. If you set that switch to "on", it goes to cocktail mode.

    Identify this cabinet?

The cabinet was a Tron. Atari sticker was likely a conversion. Looks like the cabinet was cut at some point.

If you want a ttl replacement for the AM25LS2519 I can sell ya a blank board. I made them a while ago and never got around to offering them for sale. I tested it on @Dillweed's pengo board that he loaned to me for this project.

Solved - Sinistar Freezes During Title Screen and Gameplay

I think I am going to call it fixed™. The crashing and more "random" failures were likely caused by 74ls373 that were acting as buffers for the DRAM. After replacing those, the crashing stopped happening. The RAM failure on startup I have not observed since I replaced the 22uF capacitor in the...

    ADC0804 to sell?

DACs are not ADC. DAC08 is a digital to analog converter. ADC is a analog to digital converter. So they are not compatible by principle.

What fixed your game today / general repair log

From today's workday: Game: Atari Centipede Symptoms: Game resetting and audio is really crackly Troubleshooting Steps: First step is always reseating the card edge connector and pushing down on the socketed chips. That ended up fixing the issues with booting. I started with the audio issue by...

Solved - Sinistar Freezes During Title Screen and Gameplay

Just got a RAM 32 error upon a cold start after sitting for half an hour. I guess there still might be something going on. What's weird is that the background was yellow, I would think that a ram failure would have had a black background. I guess I might have some more work to do, but I'll keep...
