Got a bunch of these. I know there are smaller ones like this in Atari games. Not sure what these big one are used for.

I think it’s because the daughter was really close to her dad and even though she doesn’t have a use for the stuff she wanted to see it go to a good home and be used. I should have just bought the stuff when I had the chance but I didn’t think anyone around this area would have scooped it up.

Agreed. It was kinda sad going through everything. He had his electronics repair room and had his wood working room. You could tell this guy stayed busy all through his working days and retirement. But sadly none of his kids had any interest in any of it.

Well, I went back today after the sale was over. Unfortunately, someone scooped up the test equipment. But the guy did let me go in for a few minutes and grab a few things before he needed to leave. It’s funny you mention that. I told my wife the same thing on the way home about watching YouTube. Especially if I go back and get the equipment tomorrow. I have no clue how any of it works.

He had all the test equipment as well. Talking to the guy’s son in law, he said everything needs to sell by tomorrow afternoon or it’s getting scrapped. We agreed that if no one buys the equipment at the end of the day tomorrow that I can come get it all for free. So fingers crossed.

Ugh. Of course they are not socketed.

Ran a test on this Zaxxon Cocktail Table I have and it comes up with RAM 2 being bad. Could anyone point me to what chip this is talking about?

That’s the thing. They are all just fine scratches. None of them are deep. I think someone just used this for a table. Or stacked shit on top of it.

I ended up trying a semi-gloss black on it. I think it turned out not half bad. Like I said, I wasn’t looking for perfection, just something that was less noticeable and I think it did the trick. Now to deal with these scratches. ☹️
