You've described the model number of your tube, not the monitor's chassis. That connector is for the yoke on the tube's neck, if it's that badly burnt up chances are the yoke is not good (test for shorts with a multimeter) and unless you're able to source a replacement your monitor is a dud...

If you can obtain an LCD TV with VGA input you can easily use it with the machine through a GBS-8200 signal converter, it won't look the best thing ever but it will do the job. I'm assuming your current rear projection needs work on the tubes?
