Fast and Furious monitor - LG a68qgx793x602

You've described the model number of your tube, not the monitor's chassis. That connector is for the yoke on the tube's neck, if it's that badly burnt up chances are the yoke is not good (test for shorts with a multimeter) and unless you're able to source a replacement your monitor is a dud...

Newer flyback exploded. How long is a replacment flyback suppose to last?

Not to play Devil's Advocate but were OEM K7000 flybacks being replaced every 3-6 months over the past 35ish years? This could've been just a bad batch from manufacturing seasons as Peter has previously explained in this forum but this is pretty dismissive to how wildly the unit failed. Also...

D9400 not powering up, high frequency chirp

C513 has already been replaced, D506 and R506 leading to it are also within specs. Is a service manual known to exist for this chassis? Would a bad yoke also trigger an over-voltage shutdown?

D9400 not powering up, high frequency chirp

Hey y'all, I've recently been dealing with a non-working Wells Gardner D9400 that came in a Need for Speed Underground, upon first inspection IC301 (vertical) was blown into pieces and IC502 (optocoupler) had lots of green corrosion built upon it. Both were replaced alongside nearly all...

If you're utilizing a GBS 8200 before the VGA to HDMI converter then please check your clamp st and clamp sp settings in Geometry Menu, you'd want those to be set to 03 and 04 respectively for medium res games such as this one. I've seen stock GBS boards lose their settings randomly either be in...

    Rush The Rock monitor help!!

If you're utilizing a GBS 8200 signal converter board you'll need to adjust the color pots near the video input connector and change the Geometry clamp values in order to avoid the pink tint on the picture. This video explains it well:

Best LCD 4:3 computer monitor for Arcades?

I would avoid buying older and used 19" square monitors if you're planning to run this machine in public - most of them will have CCFL backlights, which are most likely already weak with age and will quickly deteriorate with prolonged usage nowadays. Looks like ViewSonic still produces a...

    Sega bass fishing dx monitor

If you can obtain an LCD TV with VGA input you can easily use it with the machine through a GBS-8200 signal converter, it won't look the best thing ever but it will do the job. I'm assuming your current rear projection needs work on the tubes?
