    USB2GUN - Open Source

I looked everything over and it's doable but the CPU is obsolete so you're taking a crap shoot getting them from China. The PCB offers a choice of the through hole or SMT CPU.

Make me feel better - What's the most $$$ and time you lost for a failed pickup

Back in the 80's I rented a truck to drive to north NJ to pick up 2 upright Star Wars for $75 a piece and an Asteroids for $50. All were supposedly working. When I got there (90 min drive) only 1 Star Wars was there and it had a blown Amplifone. No explanation for the missing games or the...

Fixed a flat screen monitor with the help of this video.... someone from KLOV ?

I used to replace the back lights on monitors, but I found the replacement back lights from Shopjimmy were only lasting about two years before burning out so now I just replaced the entire monitor with something from Best Buy. Keep in mind that the arcades that I service are generally open 10...

parker bohn 111 pro bowling machine. help

The game runs off a hard drive. Not sure what's on that CD, I've never actually seen a restore disk for that machine.

parker bohn 111 pro bowling machine. help

The battery dies on the motherboard and it won't power on. You need to try pushing the power button on the front of the computer.

parker bohn 111 pro bowling machine. help

Does the machine itself work ? You can't get replacement computers for these any more and the IO boards cannot be repaired. You need to run a VGA cable from the computer to the new monitor.

parker bohn 111 pro bowling machine. help

Correct. I mean in all honesty for the time being you can just sit the LCD on the shelf above the pins in front of the old monitor just to get it running again.

parker bohn 111 pro bowling machine. help

You pull the entire old monitor - tube, chassis and frame. You might want to find someone local to help as it can be dangerous if you've never handled one before. Whatever you replace it with make sure it has a VGA connector as they are starting to become a thing of the past.

Been a long time. The game is definitely VGA. I am pretty sure it runs 640x480 or possibly in SVGA 800x600. The wires to the chassis are probably for the remote board.
