Looking for a good reproduction underlay for my Pacman cocktail

ArcadeShop used to have a pretty good, cheap paper underlay for Pac-Man. I think they were out of stock when I got mine, but when I emailed them directly about it, it turned out they had just a few left over. Might be worth a shot...

What are my choices for a claw machine that fits my needs?

Oops. I woulda bought em. Sounds like something shorted near the bridge.

    Hello all!

Considering how easy they are to break into, I think it's the latter.

    Hello all!

Haha, I remember trying to bring one home when I was 22, ended up dragging the thing inside on its back. Swapped the casters for floor sliders so it'd fit under a door. You'd think these manufacturers would design the things to be 100 lbs lighter and to fit through a standard door, that way one...

    Hello all!

I don't still have my machine, but I do recall that there was not a separate light behind the CS marquee, it was lit by the overhead lights for the cabinet. That power switch should be there, in between the incoming power line and the transformer, unless someone bypassed it.

SOLD - PARTS ($200, London KY) Galaga PCB, Control Panel, Joystick, Low Voltage Transformer, and Wiring Harness

Up for sale is the PCB, Control Panel, low voltage wiring harness, and low voltage transformer from my original Galaga machine. I did not hack up the harness, I simply desoldered the connections that were directly on buttons / lights. This would be almost everything you need to turn a converted...

What are my choices for a claw machine that fits my needs?

With the machine I had pictured, it either used a potentiometer or rheostat for controlling the strength (depending on the PCB revision, I owned a few of them), which could be adjusted to anywhere between "decapitation hazard" and "impossible to win". I also had to remove a small ramp from the...

What are my choices for a claw machine that fits my needs?

My recommendation (as a registered claw machine professional) is to get one of these and swap the claw with a plush claw: Smart Industries 90's Candy Crane. They're about 24" x 24" and can easily be loaded into a pickup by one person. I've found multiple of them for around $150 each if you're...

    Hello all!

Yes, the covers on those fell off easily. I actually have a spare one that I removed because it wouldn't stay on. You don't need it for the machine to work. All of those cranes should have a power switch and I think 2 fuses in the cabinet somewhere.

    Hello all!

    I found the manual!

    Hello all!

I think I used to have the same model PCB. Pretty sure it's a Gen 5. I think I have manuals on my computer somewhere. Will get back to you on that. As for the lights, the PCB that powers them often burns up and is bypassed- so it might be gone already. Would usually be in the ceiling of the...

New Episode of Coin-Op Corner: Galaga to Class of '81 Conversion!

After a couple years of collecting and repairing all of my favorite games, I finally decided to pair things down, which lead to another big project! It was really fun to dig back into everything for the first time in a while, especially the monitor mods. I've got at least 2 more episodes in...
