Some markings on some other components for anyone who has eyes for this stuff. Transformer is a ballast for the bulb (which is a 100v bulb from Japan, with anime-speak all over it).

I recently picked up an old "Lucky Crane" style claw machine. I can't find any hard evidence of a date of manufacture, and I can't decode any of the date codes on any of the components. I've searched and searched to no avail. Can anyone show me what to do to determine the dates on some of these...

Only thing I could think of would be some kind of change in sync when the screen flashes. I'm not familiar with that particular game.

I just got around to swapping that resistor and now the guns track flawlessly. I am quite impressed. Thank you for your help!

I'm waiting on resistors to come in from Mouser, then I'll upload a video. I can play HOTD on this monitor with minimal accuracy, and it is clearly flashing the whole screen white. Wonder if your issue has something to do with the specific game.

R700 reads .98 KOhms. Manual says it should be 1K, so it's at least in spec. Do I need to replace this with some other value?
