That thought crossed my mind. I tried to rig an extra spring pulling up on the linkage but that didn't help at all.

So I did rebuild the linkages today. It works better but i did find that the solenoid has a huge amount of play on the shaft that the action end almost touches the floor causing additional friction. More or less has to overcome lifting up while trying to push out. I went ahead and bit the bullet...

Received. I'll upload a copy of what I found this evening. It's not as detailed as I would like but it's something to start with.

So I was thinking about this. Maybe the relays aren't getting enough voltage and aren't throwing all the way. So I need to test the transformer and bridge rectifiers?

So something else that's now sporadically occurring. The trolley will stop moving and a relay will start buzzing. Does that mean the relay is crapping out?

Swapped out the claw coil and find I'm still not getting any action with it. Pulled the connector and can't get any voltage at the plug when I activate the claw. All my board fuses are good. Anyone know where I should be looking?

Crane's sort of a bastard step child I suppose. I stumbled across some info on the coil in the claw going bad so I went ahead and ordered a new coil. Fingers crossed we shall see
