Thanks again for all the info. Since one of the LAN boards is preventing the boardset from booting, I tried reseating the two socketed chips with no luck, then I swapped them with the working LAN board chips and still no luck. That's as much as I can do. Well, like I said, at least I don't need...

Ahh, ok cool, that's good news. Now, the I/O board, where is that located, somewhere on or near the gun assembly? And what does that drive, all components related to the gun and scope? I'm not familiar with it. I will also start diagnosing the faulty LAN board by reseating the two socketed rom...

Thanks for the information, that's helpful. Is the LAN board needed for SS1 as well? If not, I won't need to find another one then as I am hoping to convert one of my board sets to SS1 anyway.
