Ended up just going ahead and replacing it! The rest of the coil casing basically disintegrated up on removal lol All is good now! But good to know it seems it could have been left alone with little issues of no adjustment is required! Thanks everyone!

Got an Electrohome g07 all recapped and tuned up. Reinstalled it in a Ms Pacman only to find out the plastic casing of the horizontal width coil seems too have crumbled and finally cracked, The top part of the plastic casing as well as the screw that you adjust have come completely off...

UPDATE! Taking a closer look at the machine, it turns out that there is in fact a direct connection from the flyback to the neck board. And under this wire is where I noticed the glow. On my most recent attempt to turn on the machine. It did not appear to Glow, but I could hear a faint ticking...

I suppose cleaning it probably would be a good first step. I know that the flyback isn't directly connected to the neck board. I just suspected It could be related somehow since usually It seems that big Sparks are often related to the flyback.

Thanks for the advice! I made sure to do that! I recapped my g05 and everything went absolutely smoothly! All I had to Do in the end was turn the intensity up as at first it only looked like there were bullets showing and nothing else! Everything else seems absolutely fine!
