Installed a Black Light White Bulb in Space Invaders...

So question. On my SI, the light is so "white/bright" toward the bottom that it's hard to see the player's ship. Does this mean I have the wrong bulb? (I realize I could dig in myself but taking the lazy way out and asking first. Sorry.)

Nasty gooey sticky stuff lining the bottom of my Red Tent?

My wife suggested cooking oil residue. This seems most plausible. Anyway I've decided to blast and powder coat the whole thing.

Nasty gooey sticky stuff lining the bottom of my Red Tent?

I'm thinking it'll stay for another 20 years :) Maybe it prevents rust?

Nasty gooey sticky stuff lining the bottom of my Red Tent?

Doesn't really explain how the substance is on ALL surfaces equally, besides the pooling. No smell to indicate a beverage. But honestly don't know. Could be.

Nasty gooey sticky stuff lining the bottom of my Red Tent?

Nasty gooey sticky stuff lining the bottom of my Red Tent? Just bought a Red Tent and found this bonus inside. It's basically on every horizontally flat surface (the bottom and on top of the PSU). Actually kind of pooling in one corner. Is it tar residue from cigarette smoke? How to clean? But...

Any more ideas to remove the flippin' cpo glue?

Yes. So? I was searching for a solution and found this thread. People complain if you don't search, and complain if you do  And as a matter of fact, before I tried this method, I was also going to ask about the nastiest, most toxic shit there is since a lot can change in 4 years...

Any more ideas to remove the flippin' cpo glue?

For metal panels when you DGAF, this is the best method I've found so far. I sprayed liberal amounts of Goof Off beforehand. The only frustration I encountered was going through drill batteries like a sumbitch. Do it out in the grass.

    Vs. Super Mario Bros. Art

Found this thread during my search for SMB art. I like everything. But the bezel seems a bit too heavy-handed with all that blue. I think it would look cool without the blue background -- just the objects. Not sure how to accomplish that other than die-cutting everything which would cost a...

Fix It Felix Jr Art files I am giving away

Ok here's my version I'm going with. Unlike Rick's it isn't the same size as the physical panel. I'm not trying to emulate Disney's; their creative is wrong when compared to Nintendo's.

Fix It Felix Jr Art files I am giving away

Interesting. The files pc10builder posted must not be the final version Rick uses then. Too bad Rick has dropped off the face of the earth to help others out.

Fix It Felix Jr Art files I am giving away

I wasn't happy with how Rick did the CPO so I modified it to make it match better with a Nintendo CPO. The Disney-made cabinets also don't match Nintendo's so I guess I understand what Rick was going for but the stretched images and wrong typography really bugged me. The size has been corrected...

Nintendo VS - What is this; can it be safely removed?

Got'er done. The Citristrip did an "ok" job of weakening it a bit. I had to hit it with Motsenbockers after that to weaken it further. Scraping it away was quite hard on the formica and you can see the scuffs when it catches light, but it looks good at other angles.

Nintendo VS - What is this; can it be safely removed?

So first I had to remove the glue residue left behind from the Nintendo VS sticker. It was a perfectly even film of glue covering the entire area where the sticker used to be. Used Goof Off super glue remover and a plastic squeegee for that. Worked well but messy and time consuming. Now I'm...

First Cab!! Xmen COTA Restoration and 4 Player Control Panel Resto/mod project!!

Dude. Just get a Konami or Midway 4-Player cab. I beg you. You can remove the control panel very easily on both brands. Other than that, COTA is still one of my favorite Capcom fighters. Cool pickup. Is that a 19" or 25" monitor? Can't quite tell. And what brand of cab is this? Anyone?

Nintendo VS - What is this; can it be safely removed?

Haven't had much time! We're in process of moving so don't want to start a messy project until we're in the new place. But I've prepared other things like order a cap kit and the missing hardware for the other cabinet. Scored a monitor and bootleg DK pcb from Mick. Waiting on the harness and...
