replace the B+ pot BEFORE you start replacing other parts. the B+ pot not working can cause all kinds of issues. on some G07's the screen will not go all the way dark if you are using the TPG and some games. if i were you, i would just replace ALL the post on those chassis. those metal pots...

yup. seen it dozens of times. the pots on the chassis, the H-Hold and B+ pots are junk and need replaced more often than not. the B+ pot i replace on every Sanyo i fix. the H-Hold pot is a hit or miss if it does not pass the burn in test. replacing the pot "should" solve your issues. Peace...

sounds to me you have a issue in the video processing section. i see this on many different chassis. check for any solder bridges, this is the most common issue. if you need it repaired, your welcome to send it in. Peace Buffett

don't bother with Deoxit, just replace the pot. that pot is on it's way out. 50 Deg should not have any working affect on the chassis. re-flow the section around the pot as well. Peace Buffett

test all the diodes in the degauss and PS circuit. one or more of them may be shorted. you can also test the H.O.T. it may have been taken out when the fuse blew or is the cause if shorted. make sure your rig is running isolated power to the chassis, if not it will cause fuses to blow. if you...

Sounds like a cab wiring issue and not a monitor issue. Something is touching in the harnesses somewhere it should not. Trace all the AC side first then the DC side. Peace Buffett
