why would cracks in the metal frame holding the monitor matter? yes cracks in the chassis. the Sanyo is one of the easiest chassis to crack when you handle it. Peace Buffett

look for any cracks in the chassis. measure all the resisters in the area around the B+ pot. Peace Buffett

IC601 is what controls the B+. if a cap kit and re-flow does not fix the issue then that is the next step. shoot me a PM with your order. Peace Buffett
