Got an original speech board off eBay for cheap and had cdjump check it out and with his help we have speech! The cpo finally shipped so hope to see it soon and all I’ll lack is the 2 inner glasses to finish this build.

Yeah I’ve been talking to another guy and he was building one as well so he made some extra parts and a panel. I called TOG and Kendra said they should be done with the overlays this month hopefully. I also had a custom carpet made

Got a correct panel today! One step closer to finishing this game. Now I’m waiting for TOG to finish making the overlays and it’ll basically be done.

I used a 24” Walmart onn computer monitor. I took a piece of wood and cut it to length, made my holes for the monitor to mount, and then got it centered with the help of my fiancé and screwed it to the back of the mounts the original piece would mount to.

Would you be building a smaller tron or actual cabaret? Because the original cabaret didn't have the background or would it just be replacing the rear wood panel with the monitor?

I just got a cheap one off amazon. I could do that since I’m using the environmental harness but then I’d have to buy the relay board and I don’t really care too much for that little effect haha. I am adding a peach though for sure.

Yeah I got my media player from Amazon and monitor from Walmart. I did order the translite but ended up figuring out a monitor that fit nearly perfect since no one has any clue what size fits. But I just test fit a few flatscreens to find the right fit and ended up canceling the translite order...

The 2 trons side by side look so awesome. I rigged up a chopped tron control panel up to be able to play discs of tron tonight until an original pops up. Anyone anyone

Bought a 22” computer monitor and a media player today for the moving background. It fits pretty well and looks awesome. So close to completing the game.

colors are dialed in and monitor has been capped. Just need a control panel if anyone has one. I have a spinner and joystick just not the metal plate itself. Or if someone can get me dimensions I can just get one cut and bent from a local shop.

Oh yeah. Now if I can just find a control panel I’ll be set.

Made the inner art blades last night and applied the decals to them this morning. It looks so awesome
