Just checked that now and the yoke tests fine, I've had a spare polo I just rebuilt today running on it for the last hour with no problems. Meanwhile, the original chassis is still in collapse. I'll likely comb through it and test traces/components, will update if I find the issue.

Monitor was running with an isolation transformer Screen adjustment is all the way down, other controls didn't do much. Colors definitely seem to be inverted when compared side by side with another game. I may just hit it with caps, but I wanted to see if I had missed something first.

I have a Nanao MS8-26SU that was pulled from a Daytona USA. I was hoping to use in in a Hydro Thunder, but when I hooked it up the colors were inverted. The monitor works fine in Daytona, and Hydro puts out a good picture on a U5000 that I tested. Is there some sort of adjustment that I'm missing?

Finally had a chance to put this one back on the bench. Confirmed the brand new flyback was the problem. Put in another flyback and the issue is gone. Still needs some adjusting but otherwise good to go.

I've narrowed down the problems to the Video/Convergence board labeled PB7214 by swapping parts with another monitor. I've been poking around a bit checking resistors and whatnot but still haven't found the problem.

Well I can confirm that it didn't break anything, but it also doesn't seem to have too much of an effect. I'll have to try the other one from the 7400 that I know is working and see if it makes a difference

They do seem to be a bit different, not much info online and nothing mentioned in the manual. Pretty sure the original U5000 pincushion board is P764 and the K7400/K7500 is P777 I have one from a K7400 and one from a K7500 side by side and they're populated differently. I'm not sure if it makes...

I have a U5000 on a 27" tube that's missing the pincushion board. Does anyone know if you can use the pincushion board from a K7500?

Took off the heat sink clips and Q802 is an STRZ4302 No leaks from the tubes, although I've seen it in some other projection monitors I've had. The solder on the two ICs looks a bit spotty and there are a few caps that didn't get replaced nearby that look like they may have leaked underneath...

So far it's only been caps and a flyback. I did the caps because the monitor started to have some bad geometry, and I've heard plenty of horror stories about the original flybacks exploding after putting in new caps. I actually still have the original flyback, and I've been debating putting it...

There are two large ICs on the power supply, I'll have to pull the boards out and remove the heatsink clips to ID them though.
