Got the remote. Convergence seems way off. Manual says it should be a Mitsubishi. Is there any reason a Toshiba wouldn't work? I'm seeing a section in the manual for lost world that talks about setting convergence but not for this model monitor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i was thinking i more had vertical in the horizontal spot. It was doa, cold solder joints some reflow and a recap got me here.

This one is an odd bird. have you found that the screen pot is on the neck board, and the focus is on the flyback? I know how dumb this sounds considering the lengthy write up you made.
