    Defender Reproduction

Just dont play the Atari 2600 version :50: Defender was huge when it was released back in "81". I can still see the crowd of kids around that cab, the day it was wheeled into our local Mom & Pop Grocery. :50: Back then, new release games were almost like new release films.:50:

Super Sprint cab restoration from hell

Yeah, definitely pretty rough. At Least Your on your way. At least I hear they are RePoping alot of the plastic pieces for those games nowadays. So at least thats good news. So if you have any of the Atari Sprint, Super Sprint games or a Key Drag Race, nows the time.

    New Project: Tetris Cabaret

I like the full size puzzle games too, severely underrated arcades, those games never really get old.Tetris, Columns, Klax, Bubble Bobble, all great games. Can always fill an hour with a Puzzle arcade game.

Let's save a very rough Robotron.

Robotron, Sweet!! Actually I have seen worse looking Arcade Video games, alot worse restored. I dropped a few quarters into that game. As a kid 😁

    Pole Position “Chunk o’ Wood”

You could probably just build it up with Bondo layers, then paint. It will probably never see hardcore arcade use again so probably the cheapest and easiest.

Doesn't look that bad. Agree with above though, make sure it's completely dried out before considering next move.

Reproduction DK Cabinets etc close to AZ

Probably better off going local. Not much to building the cabinets if you have a decent wood shop.

    Searching for Wood Grain Vinyl

You should check out a local Automotive Wrap Dealer, they might be able to hook you up. Maybe pitch it as a project, after your done you can rip some pics off for them to promote thier product. Somebody might want the publicity? Heck it might create some jobs for them, with the Arcade game...

I would rather just lay out the 57 bucks. 🤣

Spy Hunter Cockpit / Sit down Restoration

I don't think I would attempt something like that. My guess is you only have about maybe a 30% chance of pulling something like that off, without messing it up somehow. And even then it would probably be noticeable up close. Probably end up going through 2-3 plexis before getting something...

Spy Hunter Cockpit / Sit down Restoration

Spy Hunter Cockpit / Sit down Restoration

Pretty cool, sometimes that stuff is almost as fun to look at as the restored arcade games.

Spy Hunter Cockpit / Sit down Restoration

Looks like your missing the smoked plexi for the back? That is going to be fun to try and find? 🤣 Wonder how many of those things got busted out over the years? 🤣

Spy Hunter Cockpit / Sit down Restoration

Probably 2 pretty good cabinets to preserve or restore. Probably not alot of those left out there.

Spy Hunter Cockpit / Sit down Restoration

Actually the Sit Down SH Cabinests seemed pretty common to me. Probably the most common of "The Golden Age Arcade Games" I probably came across more sit down SH cabs than uprights. They were just comfortable too. For something without padding they were just perfectly ergonomically designed. That...
