  1. My 2 Rush 2049 SE conversions to emulation racing machines (work log)

I will be able to save you some time and headaches probably with some of my button setups and what, and I can send you the custom FFB Plugin and Outputblaster (for lights) that I have made and still working on to add new support for the cabinet.
  2. My 2 Rush 2049 SE conversions to emulation racing machines (work log)

Got Batman all configured with FFB/lamp outputs. The game itself has a TON of lamp outputs but I'm just using 2 of them - start and fire - since the other ones are all cosmetic on the original cabinet. I have also since changed some settings. If you watch that video, when making selections...
  3. My 2 Rush 2049 SE conversions to emulation racing machines (work log)

Yeah I had it on the keeper list but I got rid of it because realistically I doubt I'd ever play it lol. It's there though. I hadn't played it though. I also have started my own forks of the FFB Plugin and the Output Blaster project. It's very specific to the UFFB setup too and my plan is...
  4. My 2 Rush 2049 SE conversions to emulation racing machines (work log)

I had some time today to do some house cleaning and configuration. I went through the entire list of games and removed a bunch of games that I know I will never play. I didn't remove them from the entire PC, but they simply are not in the hyperspin wheel anymore. Here is a list of all the...
  5. Mame windows 10 bug !

In your mame.ini do you have the video option set to anything? Try setting video = d3d and see if that fixes it.
  6. My 2 Rush 2049 SE conversions to emulation racing machines (work log)

I was talking with the developer of Project R this evening about the outputs and if his game actually outputted them, and after some confusion on my part I understood that he was outputting them to a bit map and he gave me the values that get set for each one. So I took that and started looking...
  7. My 2 Rush 2049 SE conversions to emulation racing machines (work log)

I tried Outrun 2 last night as well and had never played it before, and damn that game is great. I love the whole drifting aspect of it. The FFB is great in it to however it hardly has any "spring" effect when you are just driving, so I think I am going to add a permanent spring in the...
  8. My 2 Rush 2049 SE conversions to emulation racing machines (work log)

There is an option inside of it on the last tab (Think it was direct3D or something, it's not the Glide one it's the other one) and right at the top there is a checkbox that says something like (paraphrasing) "bypass this and let the graphics card handle things" and checking that basically...
  9. My 2 Rush 2049 SE conversions to emulation racing machines (work log)

I haven't updated in here in a while so I figure I'll give a little bit of one. First of all, everything is working just fine and running well. I took some time off of the project because I was using my free time to play Silksong and was just kind of burnt out on those cabinets lol. I have...
  10. My 2 Rush 2049 SE conversions to emulation racing machines (work log)

Thanks! I finally got the basement back in order and put everything back together. My son has played Cars a bit however that game has issues. I am going to upgrade Teknoparrot and see if that resolves it. I've had instances where that game just completely goes black and it makes my PC...
  11. My 2 Rush 2049 SE conversions to emulation racing machines (work log)

I'm honestly not even worried about it since it's going to be back up against a wall in my basement. As for the antenna, yah that is the wifi antenna. I compared keeping it inside the cabinet versus outside and it gives me 1-2 more bars when outside so I opted for that. The ethernet jack on...
  12. My 2 Rush 2049 SE conversions to emulation racing machines (work log)

I got the fans installed and they push out some good air, especially when on full blast. It's kind of hard to tell from the pic since it's blurry at the bottom, but the cable is long enough that I can actually connect it to the PC and use the pwm feature. I planned on cutting the wires off and...
  13. My 2 Rush 2049 SE conversions to emulation racing machines (work log)

I had this little text file which is kind of funky format, but here's a screen shot of it... The left was my estimate, and then on the right was the actual cost. However on the right, it doesn't include the UFFB, pwm2happ, 2049 add on board, or SSD. I did get my package from Europe before...
  14. My 2 Rush 2049 SE conversions to emulation racing machines (work log)

Okay this is absolutely fucking awesome and setting up the linked part was super easy.
  15. New to emulation/mame questions

No problem I was just legit confused as to what that was for. You also will need to run a fork of MAME called GroovyMAME. It's super easy to setup. The first 2 threads in this forum below are basically all you need to get going. https://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?board=52.0 EDIT...
  16. New to emulation/mame questions

The sync wires are on the JAMMA harness and the JPAC has a VGA plug on it - I don't understand why you would want to introduce another piece of hardware with the converter and that is what I am confused about, but you do you. You need the crt-emudrivers to run Windows and MAME in standard...
  17. New to emulation/mame questions

I am a little confused. I am assuming you want to play Total Carnage without the original PC by emulating it somehow, which would mean you need a PC. The JPAC allows you to hook your JAMMA connector up to it, run a USB cable to your PC, connect a VGA cable to your PC, and then you can...

Use this in regards to what though?
  19. My 2 Rush 2049 SE conversions to emulation racing machines (work log)

I also just ordered a pair of these for exhaust fans: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DZX7FYTX?smid=AFRUWVWO3UJ63 I plan on mounting them right behind the vent at the top of the cabinets and have them blowing out, get some of that hot air out of the cabinet. I don't know if it's necessary or not...
  20. New to emulation/mame questions

Getting crt-emudrivers setup is not nearly as hard to do as it seems like based on trying to find information about it. It's pretty damn simple. You can get compatible graphics cards for like $15 on ebay. You can also setup a PC that is powerful enough to run those games for pretty cheap too...
