    K7401 chassis on a K7000 tube/yoke?

Ive done it why can it not ? We are talking about a regular k7400 and a regular k7000 right both 25" lol? At least a k7000 on a k7400 tube bot vice versa but idk why it would not unless because the 7400 is pickier than the k7000

Peter Chou Power Supply (in Midway Cabinet)

The only peter chous imo worth repairing were the i think called XL models or was it XT the big ones that were in dynamo, 3koam, some neo geo cabs, because the modern replacement you kinda have to retro fit them or they will leave gaps in the cab or on the dynamos case not have the on off switch...

What Video Card do I need for PowerPutt version 1.00.07?

IIRC 7300 or 7600 are the only 2 that will work with that one but if you just call IT tech support they will tell you. I have it in my notes somewhere but not near them atm.

    24K7400 limited use?

Interesting ive never seen the 24” k7400 before. Probably because my company never had one of those atomswave cabs someone posted above and idt ive ever seen on in real life. Just when you think you know everything about WG another easter egg is found.

    K7401 chassis on a K7000 tube/yoke?

Huh? The k7400 and k7000 are completely compatible between the two, and you can swap the yokes wont matter and dosent matter which ring set you use either, just mark the rings and where the rings were at as far as how far or close to the yoke. The only thing thats different is the trays they sit...

    Are U5000’s “tube picky”?

The u5000 is not picky whatsoever, its compatible and so is the tube with most standard res chassis. Its one of my favorites because of how versatile it is. theoretically some medium res chassis might work with the tube ok but ive never tried any and maybe with the chassis set to mid res mode...

    Dynamo HS-9 Advice

Huh out of all the Dynamo cabs my company use to own and ive seen, I do not think I ever seen a horizontal drawer Dynamo, a lot of Atari Cabs used a similar horizontal drawer like primal rage, they are a lot easier to work on. I think I would still prefer the horizontal drawer the most annoying...

    Neotec 25E Neck Board Creaking/Arcing/Sparking

Hmm thats rare, but neotecs were known to have shitty flybacks more commonly after being on and adjusted properly they would get really bright or really dull on their own. At least ive heard, personally ive only had one neotec were ive had this happen and that was exactly it. They are easy to...

    K4600 c625 cap keeps bulging

ive heard .22 rounds work well 😀, I cant remember what happened that myth busters episode. Some craziness ive seen is shady operators taking the blown fuse and then just wrapping solder around one end, strand it to the other end and wrap it around that end and put it back in lmao. Seen it on a...

    Anyone use these cheap testers?

https://a.co/d/cLRf2vd I use this cheapy, same one Zenomorph uses in his monitor chassis videos. It has come in handy before using along side my fluke. Mostly use it for monitor chassis transistors and poly caps. I mean it seems to do what its suppose to for 20$.

Hantarex Polo 25" Horz Wavy Distortion?

right, now I dont fuck around its like it will take me 10 seconds to just replace this grandfathered in resistor thats still kinda in spec, lets just not be lazy and replace it anyway with a good quality APAR, mouser, digi anyway. I just said screw it they are super cheap for most components...

Hantarex Polo 25" Horz Wavy Distortion?

Iirc I believe MKL or someone told me on hantarex polos replacing the poly caps is a must on bullet proofing it. Something about it stresses out other components and causes them to burn out or run too hot.

Hantarex Polo 25" Horz Wavy Distortion?

I think hes probably just saying for whatever reason a lot of us like Zenomorph have agreed that good working hantarex polos seem to produce the best picture that even top a good working k7000.
