The k7400 and k7000 are completely compatible between the two, and you can swap the yokes wont matter and dosent matter which ring set you use either, just mark the rings and where the rings were at as far as how far or close to the yoke. The only thing thats different is the trays they sit...

The u5000 is not picky whatsoever, its compatible and so is the tube with most standard res chassis. Its one of my favorites because of how versatile it is. theoretically some medium res chassis might work with the tube ok but ive never tried any and maybe with the chassis set to mid res mode...

Iirc I believe MKL or someone told me on hantarex polos replacing the poly caps is a must on bullet proofing it. Something about it stresses out other components and causes them to burn out or run too hot.

I think hes probably just saying for whatever reason a lot of us like Zenomorph have agreed that good working hantarex polos seem to produce the best picture that even top a good working k7000.

As others showed you in this thread you can look it up on Tubular, but if its a tv tube id just try it and see, but im also capable pf just fixing my k7000 if I blow a HOT etc.

Its possible and ive done it, the ring sets i used were a bit loose and this was a giant problem trying to adjust them, so i added little pieces of blue painters tape to the side of the ring set until it was snug that i could move the rings and it would stay in place until correct then glued it...

No the convergence rings can have an impact on it as well, the two closest to the yoke also deal with purity issues, and ive seen them have a huge impact on purity issues at times. The others deal with linearity. So do not mess with those and always mark the rings in a couple spots before...
