Omg. Thank you! I had figured out the error was the eeprom and I already ordered a replacement to try to fix it. I didn't know there was a way to initialize it and that it would test as bad if it needed to be initialized. You'd think the board would just try initializing it automatically if...

I just got screwed over on eBay... I sold a Salamander 2 pcb w/ artwork for $470 and made the mistake of accepting returns. After a couple weeks the buyer requested a refund with the reason "changed my mind" and I had no choice but to refund them because eBay is awful now. I got the board back...
