I would be interested in a Galaga cab or two and a few Nintendo cabs. Have been watching for the other repro cabinets to pop up after that business was sold but heard nothing.

I pre-ordered one the day they became available. It's a grail title for me. They're doing nothing but impressing me with each reveal - helping wash away any doubts I may have had. Great stuff from a team that's obviously passionate about the title and game.

This would be the ticket. Peer regulated and open for everyone to see ... trust the submission but if someone doubts it, they can watch the hours long video to verify the score. And done cheap in terms of web hosting. Never understood just having one or two people viewing every video submission.

I bought a set of Nintendo Vs. sideart from digdug on ebay and was a bit disappointed in the quality. Looks like a poor scan and poor print ... but when looking at the (assumed) original sticker on the cabinet it looks pretty similar. Was the original art that bad? Maybe the art on this...

Startup is key. Highest amp draw is on system start ... give 10-15 seconds between and you should be good. I measured amp draw on all my games and was surprised at how little they drew under normal operation. Pins were highest at startup when triggering all solenoids and devices at 2-4 amps...

Sounds OK. I paid $85 to have my 3 pieces sandblasted, a spot weld on the coin door, and powder coated black. The guy cut me a deal if I was willing to wait until he was doing a larger job with the same color (which I was). Yours is a lot more metal and likely a custom color that they'd need...

Second that. Absolutely pay them to strip it. I powder coated the coin door, control panel, and marquee holder on a galaga restore and it turned out great. Long lasting, even finish and durable.

I just did a business trip to Seattle and opted for Shorty's (dive bar in downtown) instead of the pinball museum to kill a few hours before coming home. Really really neat place with some amazing machines. WOZ, MM, lots of newer Stern machines with a great atmosphere. Wish I lived closer...
