  1. Best FlatScreen for Wallmount Mame?

Personal bar Not it is just a piece of furniture that is a bar. Currently there is a wine rack and a vinyl record player there. My thought is either putting a bartop mame on there or attaching an XArcade on the bartop, then mounting a flatscreen TV on wall behind it. Computer hard drive...

  4. Building a Playchoice-10 From Spare Parts

Great looking unit for what it is. What was your price on this as I am curious? Am trying to talk the wife into letting me add a Playchoice to build up my collection and wish there were some people in my area that would build and sell these. Think a lot of people in their 30s and 40s would buy...

so basically I need to ensure to always have everything off and unplugged when tinkering with the power supply (once I get another one now)? When do the +5 adjustments, can the unit be on for that, or do I turn the game off, adjust and then turn it back on? Just want to make sure I do it all...

The original time I did have power on when I switched it, a little smoke came out and then I unplugged everything quickly. I then waited about 10-15 minutes. switched t0 110 with it not being hooked up to anything. Tried again and that is when snap and smoke came. I assume it was just...

  12. Multicade Help

Ok, so unplugged it all, turned power supply to the 110v. Got everything connected and plugged in and powered on. Sounded like it was running fine, was going to check the meter, when i again saw a little smoke. So I turned it off real quick. a loud snap/pop came from the power supply...

But which setting should it have been at, the 220V or 110v? And if 110, if I do the switch with everything disconnected and then connect wires, plug in and power in, there shouldnt be any smoke?

Yes, the 9volt came in right at 9 so the meter should be fine. I guess I will email the ebay seller and she what she says. Was curious on it as the adjustable +5 was bent, which didnt seem right. Guess I will try another purchase and hopefully get a refund on this one. Thanks again for the help.
  16. Multicade Help

No, I just bought this new at Sears. I had tested out a couple other things around the house and they all came up at measurements that they should have. So maybe it is power supply?
  17. Multicade Help

Ok, so I reconnected my old power supply which I thought was the initial problem. The AC measurements are coming just under 120 so that is fine. But for +5 and +12 I am getting a 0 reading and there isnt that loud buzzing noise? So, do you think my old Power Supply is completely shot and this...
