The length matters? It has to be the same as what was on there?
I'm not even sure what parts to buy. IE, cable gauge and any other spec. Or is this all standard stuff?
I need to replace one of the ribbon cables on my Sega hang On. It's a 40 pin female/female ribbon cable (IDC/IDE?).
The manual describes these as: 600-5231 (FC 40P)
They look similar to the old PC style IDE cables, with no holes keyed.
I found a cable called, "Gowoops 2PCS 20cm 40pin GPIO...
That playfield does look very nice. I personally haven't decided if I am going to go with the clear coat route yet. There is one small section I need to touch up. Thinking I might just use a small piece of mylar on it. Since this is my first restoration, I feel like more experienced people...
I recently started my first pinball restoration. Basically, I am using pinrepair.com as my bible. I did have one question about ball swirls though. The playfield had a lot of ball swirls on it, so I used magic eraser/rubbing alcohol on it. This method did a pretty good job, but there are...
Well, I re-seated all the roms on the top board. The video image is much worse now. I am going to re-seat the roms on the bottom board tomorrow, but I am starting to feel pessimistic.
I finally got around to installing an accelerator cable for a Sega Hang-On on picked up. While doing so, the image went from good to what you see in the attached images. It looks like the sprites are a bit messed to me.
I can't be sure, but I think it actually might have gotten stuck in...
I recently purchased a upright Hang-On. I have seen Super Hang-On system boards for sale and it got me thinking. Could a Hang-On be converted to a Super Hang-On? Is the steering assembly the same? Anyone heard of this being done?
Thanks
I gave up on the Fast Draw. For the price, I might as well go the Six Gun Select route.
At any rate, I am looking for Six Gun Select parts. All parts excluding the monitor.
Gun, Holster (not the whole rack), all cables and boards, PC system.
Thanks
I am looking for the throttle cable and the small metal attachments on the actual cable. I don't need the actual throttle.
I am not sure if the Super Hang On throttle cable is the same or not.
Pinball newb myself..but, I found these guys to be the most reasonable for parts so far..

Do a search for Space Invaders. There are a few rebuild flipper kits there.
I have a small chip missing on edge of my RFM glass. It is very scary to handle....
I don't even know where to find a piece of glass for RFM since it has the transparent mirror at the top. Someone told me it would cost $250 to replace...scary.
