  1. Terminator 2 ball kickout to the pivot gun

Thanks, but the plastic disintegrated, too, so there's nothing to put it back into. Oddly enough, it's been fine the past day. Go figure. The ball cradle is missing, but for the time being, I'm running with it (and searching for replacement parts via Marco...THANK YOU beerorkid!) Beerorkid...
  2. Terminator 2 ball kickout to the pivot gun

There is a 'cradle' behind the drop-target which sends a capture ball over to the pivoting gun on the right side of the playfield via a wire 'tunnel'. Something on mine failed, and I cannot find any replacement for it. As it stands, I took some light glue and put the cradle/pedestal back on to...
  3. Vacation Ideas

Vegas is tough in August. It's tough in JUNE, for that matter. Still, I think the pinball museum on Tropicana (it's been a while, might not be correct), is still there. Vintage pins & arcades, and of course, The Strip.
  4. Dangers of pinball parties

No biggie. With the backstory, I understand your rage. The Valley, in TX, is the Rio Grande valley. The Brownsville area.
  5. Dangers of pinball parties

Frax, your train left the rails at statement 1. As a mid-40's native of Dallas, yes, Dallas and Fort Worth are vastly different, even though they are only 40 miles apart. Dallas = east cost mentality Fort Worth = a true 'western' mentality The education system's style, and the utter stupidity...
  6. Dangers of pinball parties

Yep, D/FW pinball club. I'm a Fort Worth guy, so I don't make it to Dallas all that often, even though I was born-and-raised there. When I left, I vowed to not go back, if at all possible.... I have renewed enthusiasm to get new Rottendog boards for my Whirlwind and Earthshaker. They're...
  7. Dangers of pinball parties

Since attending a Fort Worth pinball party last week, I cannot get both Championship Pub and Cyberball 2072 off my mind. This is not good. At the same time, I dismissed Comet as too 'old' to fit with what we have. Taxi, OTOH....
  8. Earthshaker pinball at pawn shop...been really thinking about it

Looks better than average. I bought one for my wife off ePay, and a year later, I was trucking to Reno to get a replacement playfield. Stlll worked out well, but it cost me a few days. Still have that machine...likely will 'till I die.
  9. YAWN... Two boring new acquisitions.

Nice going! I used to have a vid T2 keeping my T2 pin company, but sold it. I have never seen a T3, however...I see I'm on a new quest!
  10. i dont need no stinkn friends ( one person pinball electric winch )

Thanks, Marcus. Yeah, she gets pretty much whatever she wants... :-) Spa was last year, half-day. I'll have to come up with something else, this year.
  11. i dont need no stinkn friends ( one person pinball electric winch )

I dunno, man. My wife *really* enjoyed helping me muscle the Whirlwind, Earthshaker, and Terminator 2 upstairs... 8-P I promised she'd never help me move them again after this. We're both partially-crippled, and it took two days, two machines the first day, one the second, pulled some...
  12. My first pinball machine

Wow! I've always really wanted one of these, but they're huge. Played it a lot as a kid in 1980-1981. I cannot imagine trying to get one upstairs to the game/theater/music room. Okay, it's not a Hercules, but still, I recall it being obviously wider than others of the time. To the OP...
  13. t2 pinball

The T2 is my third pin, behind the Whirlwind and Earthshaker. Still really enjoy playing it, 14 years later. Yeah, it's a little 'shallow', but there be plenty of ball speed and action. Used to have a T2 vid game to go with it, but my wife and I tired of it. Just wasn't the same kind of fun.
  14. What is your least favorite game in your personal collection?

Tough one. I'll have to go in reverse order of how I bought them, most favorite to, well, not least favorite, but the ones I'd part with, first. Whirlwind Earthshaker Terminator 2 I like the T2, and dig the ES, but the Whirlwind...I really, really like that machine.
  15. Looking at a earthshaker ... Few questions

I'm brand-new to the forum, but have had three pins for about 13 years, now. Ironic how the first was a Whirlwind and the second an Earthshaker. I played both of these for hours while in college, so I decided it was time to own 'em. A Terminator 2 keeps them company, but the matching T2...
