More than one room for games

I just bought a new house and will be getting my games out of storage after 2 long years. I plan on the garage, the family room, and one bedroom to be games. Hoping they all fit 🤞. I also have a couple in my office. The thing I am most excited about with the new place is I will have a...

    Shipping a Game from Canada

This is great advice. I do the drive to the border often, my parents retired in Omak, WA. I could just stay the night with them, pick up the game, and head back.

    Shipping a Game from Canada

My buddy is getting a 720 shipped in from Canada. I have never had a game shipped from Canada before, so curious if anybody has had experience with retaining a customs broker, and if so can you make any recommendations and explain how that process works? Thanks all.

    Token Haul

I have a small collection of tokens just from games I've bought that have had them inside. Most are from local arcades I played at as a kid, so I keep them. The main arcade I played at was Earth Station 1, and I'm always looking for/willing to buy tokens from that arcade. If anybody has any...

The VAG (Vintage Arcade Gal) Price Guide Update!

Here is my list of games, what I paid for them, what condition they are in, what Exidy values them at, what Cassandra's book values them at, and what I estimate them to be worth. Not every game matches up perfectly, but I thought it was amazingly consistent. This is just an FYI for people...

    Child killed by arcade game.

When I had games on location every time I would go to empty them I would see signs of tampering, ie paper clips stuck in locks, pry marks, even a coin on a string stuck in the acceptor, so I decided to put up cameras. The first time I checked the footage I immediately decided to pull my games...

The VAG (Vintage Arcade Gal) Price Guide Update!

Hey All, if you dig the book go to Amazon and give it a positive review. I already did, but the book only has two reviews (both 5 stars). Positive reviews can only help, so get to Amazon and review away...

Here Is Something That Doesn’t Happen Every Day.

Nice! I found out a guy that lived down the street was also a collector through a CL ad. I have bought a few games from him, but never for that good of a deal! Congrats on the score!

    Finally grabbed a Boot Hill!!

I've been looking for a Boot Hill forever, I have fond memories of playing this game with my dad when I was a kid. My game buying is on hold for a bit for personal reasons, but this game will definitely be on my list when I start buying again.

    Wedges/Ledges Challenger Crane Owner's Manual

Years ago I got a Wedges/Ledges Challenger Crane that wasn't working. I got in touch with the manufacturer, Wedges/Ledges, to get an owner's manual. They told me they only had a few hard copy manuals left, but I talked them out of one by telling them I'd scan it and post it so people could...

SOLD - GAME Atari Football working - $695 San Carlos, CA SFBA

Honestly one of the most fun head to head games ever made. So physical and so much trash talking haha. If you can play this game head to head and you aren't sweating with blisters on your hand afterwards you aren't doing it right. And the original stand is hard to find. If I didn't already...

Next vehicle recommendations for picking up Arcades or a Pinball ?

I have a Nissan Armada, great for transporting one game. Tons of room with the seats folded down, and you can pick them up cheap enough. Only real problem is that they suck gas, I average about 12-13, so I don't use it as my daily driver.

Games that you Acquired for Free in Recent Years

I've picked up four non-working EM pinball machines, a working Arch Rivals in a Moon Patrol cabinet, a non-working Pole Position II, non-working Asteroids Deluxe, and working Area 51/Maximum Force (needed new cabinet) for free in the last five years or so.

    Game names you mispronounce

We all know what people mean when they say it, there is no ambuguation, so if it really bothers you, you are choosing to be bothered by it. This is how language evolves. Arcade didn't orginally mean a location with a bunch of games, perhaps we should just roll the meaning of 'arcade' all the...
