well it wouldnt really be like the old tv with spraying with water.. it would be the pcb/and stuff in the cabinet, which would then be in a little housing unit.. so it should work indefinately i'd think... i dunno we'll find out i guess.

I havent played golden tee live yet, as its overly complicated nature has turned off the people i might normally get to play it with me at the bars.. people at bars, drinking, drunk, etc.. dont want complications.. they want the same player everyone else is using, and simple, so they can play...

if I build the housing well enough, have the cab raised an inch or two off the ground within the unit, and have it totally enclosed with a roof and doors for the front, it should survive right?

i dunno if its legit or not, nobody seems to know... classic was a "final" edition for the 3d board.. so i could see them deciding to do a "final" edition for the fore board.. the older courses graphics from fore, 2002, 2003,2004,2005 should all be the same, essentially just course swaps...

well, i woke up too early and was feeling stupid so i purchased a happ trackball new, that apparently is translucent green and glows.. ?? so we'll see how it does.

happ seems to be more expensive but than I see alot of people saying in their ebay auctions that "imperials are the way to go! preferred by vendors".. that just a lie? I really have no clue what is wrong with this current one.. I cleaned it all up, and it doesnt run great but it should work...

I have a benson imperial used trackball I got, and its crapping out on me.. half the time the left/right functions of it dont work. I lubed up the closed bearings, cleaned it out, etc etc.. yet, still, half the time the damn left/right functions go out.. could it be because of a bad optical...

Already have a golden tee fore control panel, and have a gt99 in there.. would like to upgrade to the fore board, whether it be fore, 2002 or 2003. also looking for generic GT side art if anyone has it! thanks! -jim

it seems that depending on how the screws holding the trackball into the control panel are tightened, determines how well the trackball is working for me. unfortunately, two of the screw inserts on the control panel/harness are somewhat stripped, so tehy dont hold the screws well, but the other...

gosh dangit.. now the dang thing is so finnicky.. it will work, left/right.. but half the time it doesnt want to register anything but forward/backwards.. could it be something is tightened too much? poor connection??? any ideas?

nevermind opened it up to clean and noticed the horizontal roller had its connection corroded off sodered it and its good to go!

okay I got the new GT99 board popped it in, works perfect... loads up nice. attached my cp, and I can play, but its not really playing.. as the left/right on the trackball work sparsely... the up/down are finally working basically all the time, but at first, all my shots would fly right...

do you play classic the most since its a "Greatest hits" of the other years? what are your favorite courses? I'd imagine something from 99 then, since its probably both in 99 and classic? are each of the years 3d to classic only 3 courses? I have played classic but dont remember the course and...

anyone have any favorite years of these? anyone have them all and could say which year they think has the best courses?
