    Smart Toy Chest crane settings

Anyone have a manual for one of these? I am trying to set the win number, if possible like every other china crane I have and can't figure out how. Holding the free play button or a coin switch doesn't work. There are several banks of dip switches on the control board, but I have no chart.

    How heavy are these cabinets?

Maybe 300lbs? I had a Jambo Safari in one of those cabinets...fell off the trailer. They're difficult to tie down, everything is plastic.

If you were going to open an arcade...

I see a few names I'd consider so far, keep 'em coming. I'd like to ad that I'll have something special for whoever comes up with the name I use. To address several comments so far: I didn't keep the tabletop and card gaming partially because many of the customers were bums with no money, but...

If you were going to open an arcade...

What would you name it? In the fall of 2012, I took over an existing game related business called The Casual Gamer. I'll abbreviate that as CG from now on. CG had a selection of arcade games when it opened in 2011, I was the operator, but CG's main focus was a shop for table-top and card...

FS Game: Rowe BC 150 changer, working.

Post a pic of your power control center. I've never seen a rowe changer that didn't have bucket dump buttons.

FS Game: Rowe BC 150 changer, working.

Why do you need a BC-100? The 100 and 150 are the same machines, except the 150 has 3 escrow buckets instead of 2, and the 150 takes up to $20s, where the 100 takes only $1s and $5s.

    The Coolest Change Machines

I'll second the Ardac. I had one in service at the arcade up until last year. The ol' Ardac still works, I just needed something that could take new $5s.

Best way to spray paint a cab? Best black spray paint?

Krylon Industrial semi-flat black is my favorite. A little less glossy than semi-gloss, finish is similar to a lot of factory paint jobs. That's what I use for touching up cabinet fronts and coin doors

Radikal Bikers has lines through the displays

WARNING!! Radikal Bikers is not JAMMA! Connecting a JAMMA board to the machine will damage the other board. The power wires are pinned differently from the JAMMA standard. But you should connect the video signal to another monitor, or another input to the monitor in the Radikal Bikers cab...

What does having an xyz title "kit" imply to you?

I'd say a used kit includes the game board, wire harness if non-jamma, controls, and any removable art (marquee, bezel, move strips, etc). Graphics with adhesive are optional.

cranes come under fire in Califorina and lady sues Dennys

That would be on newer cranes with auto-percentaging. Still, the player must line the claw with the item for it to be picked up. Plus, it's always possible for a prize to be picked up even if the claw is set weak if the claw lands on the prize the right way.

cranes come under fire in Califorina and lady sues Dennys

That's bull****! The main factor determining if a player wins a prize or not, is the player's skill in positioning the claw over the desired prize.
