Your cone button LEDs are likely fine. If they are not lighting, it's likely other issues within the cabinet and/or on the PCB and/or power supply.

I recently sold my Tomcat. There is no doubt it is a fun machine, but like others have mentioned, it's shallow. I would say it's a good title as an addition when you have others but, can be a little boring on it's own. Easy to play but, tough to beat. Great light show. $1000 is an average...

If you look close, the glass tubes have small metal leaf type switches in them. When you depress the button, it lowers a ring magnet over the glass tube and the magnetic field closes the contacts on the leaf switches. Pretty damn cool actually.
