If I had one of the 2 uprights listed above, what would I need to turn it into a 48 in 1 or 60 in 1 machine? Would it just be the Jamma adapter for that particular machine and the actual board? Is it that easy or would I need to do something more technical?

I've been looking for a 48 in 1 or 60 in 1 and have come across some with LCD panels instead of monitors. I would think it's a good idea but I'd like to hear your opinions. I've also had people ask me if I would want a computer monitor to be used, a tube one, not an LCD; what's with that?
