The monitor doesn't seem as crisp and with straight lines as it did before the long drive from Indy to Nashville. For example, the Pac-Man grid lines are kind of wavy...the only thing I can compare it to is an projection HDTV being bumped during a move and the convergence being off in places...

Thank you everyone for the information. The machine does in fact have the 3rd "ground" prong on the cord. However, I still have the issue. I'm a mechanical engineer but really don't like messing with electricity. Its not that I can't learn, but I don't trust myself not to fry something...

Adding to this, I unplugged and plugged it in again and didn't seem to be able to feel any signs of shock. Interesting. I wonder if its just a bad power cord ground or something as easy as that?
