  1. so what did u do with your games today?

What covers the control panel?.....looks like latex.....or fake skin.....
  2. The 1-up flood begins

I saw Retro Recipes 1UP Star Wars into cockpit video and recalled the 1UP Star Wars and digital yoke coming a year ago......minus the spring-return of the original yoke, the feel and accuracy looked good. (The game play looks slow, and the colors look a little bright in hue.) xinJW0uZbg8
  3. DL vs DL2 cab?

DL came out eight years later. The hardware of about e-verything changed. The animation quality got better as well - not that it needed to....but I suppose they may have thought it did to compete with coming CGI games. I have found I play Dragon's Lair the most. Space Ace ramped things up a...
  4. Just another Billy Mitchell thread.

Oh? I thought you wanted me to look up your dress.....
  5. Do you play better or worse depending on your mood

Keep it lean. Another likely scenario is your dude is an errant child, and Happy is coming to collect you and smother you in brilliance - and then you run away again, the thrill of the chase, followed by another 'motherly' smothering.
  6. Do you play better or worse depending on your mood

I prefer the middle point where I AMAZINGLY survive, or I know I will survive and laugh all the way through the hairy melee. Brain waves where I lead the Brains bolts around the screen, sometimes passing through them (still figuring this one out by incident); or running the gauntlet through the...
  7. Do you play better or worse depending on your mood

Strong emotions can blur or focus. In my experience anger blurs females' minds. Not copacetic. Anger hurts them, which is why they hate you for 'making them angry'. My best scores come from when I start a game just to play and stay in that place.
  8. New Star Wars Yoke with Aluminum gears (Alan-1)

I'd buy it without thinking. I should have waited on the yoke, though. Don't have it out of the box and don't know when I will...... But I think about it when I walk by.....
  9. To keep or sell off 'Decoration Games'?

@BrentRadio: Radarscope seems the first well-known Nintendo game, and led almost directly to DK. I hadn't thought about it. I don't play the game. But could be fun to train your hands and handedness. I recall seeing Pong, perhaps played it once or twice; not like Galaxian, and Phoenix, and...
  10. To keep or sell off 'Decoration Games'?

My Pole Position IS a decoration. It could use a good cleaning inside, and boards pulled, roms re-socketed. I haven't turned it on in....a year or more....and have been thinking of selling it off. It would probably go to the Cobra guy. He seems to have bought all the games outside of someone...
  11. New Star Wars Yoke with Aluminum gears (Alan-1)

I ask about the short bolts, as this is not a drop-in replacement for those, however rare, who are not using a metal control panel.
  12. Taitronics and Nichibutsu T shirt leftovers

Ahhh, the days of M and S being surplus.......
  13. eBay's "new managed payments experience" is bullshit! No PayPal!

Really? Hmmm. I had some items in my cart the other day, and one of the sellers was that kind of thing, and I dumped it all. I use PayPal for anything online I can......
  14. New Star Wars Yoke with Aluminum gears (Alan-1)

So you're sticking with the short studs?
  15. New Star Wars Yoke with Aluminum gears (Alan-1)

I purchased the USB adapter. Easy enough process - though pay attention to the shipping section. Default is overnight which is second-costliest.
  16. New Star Wars Yoke with Aluminum gears (Alan-1)

The ground wire looks close, but is a good inch below it. I'm not worried. Played with it today. The action in general is good. The tracking is far more accurate than my old yoke, which would shudder in MAME. This is steady. The mechanical center point is equal to a centimeter left onscreen...
  17. New Star Wars Yoke with Aluminum gears (Alan-1)

They didn't have them small like I was thinking, and the Ace woman had a simpler idea. Still a bit difficult getting the upper ones on and threaded due to lack of hand room. Then it was a lot of cranking with a long flat driver. Started it days ago, but got....cranky, I -hate- working on...
